Factions or Nightfall?
Hi,
I already own Prophecies and I went to get another campaign. I really like the Factions professions and the alliance battles, but I also like how Nightfall has hero's and is newer and has more players. Which campaign do you think I should get? Thanks Alot |

Nightfall is far superior for several reasons, the most important being gameplay.
I would recommend both if you PvP and/or can afford it, but if you are only getting one, make shure it is Nightfall. |

If you enjoy a bit of PVP and aren't caring for a lack of story, then Factions. However, Nightfall is by far superior in terms of PVE, story and gameplay.

im going to say factions because for some reason I was alot more excited to play factions and had a ton more fun with Factions in the end because I enjoyed the environment more. I do like Nightfall alot also because of all the cool content and its right up there with Factions but I love all the games so its really tough to choose, but Factions for me

Nightfall, hands down. Factions is ok, but too much time is spent in the bland city, plus all the new gameplay additions in NF, most especially heros, make it far superior. Heros are so unbelievably sweet in PvE I can't imagine ever going back to not having them.
Frankly, both are worth getting to have access to skills and such, but if you can only get one get NF. |

If you really like PvE and don't care for PvP at all, Nightfall would be a good choice. But if you like both PvE and PvP and hate having nothing to do after beating the game, I'd suggest Factions mainly because of its Alliance Battle.
But if you have money to get both, get both! |

get NF for the heroes first, then play factions with heroes
factions is a very good chapter but get nf first just for the heroes ;] |

Nightfall, Heroes make a big difference. Look at it this way:
Will buying Factions first influence your gameplay experience in Nightfall? No Will buying Nightfall first influence your gameplay experience in Factions? Yes, you can use the Heroes in Factions as well. Furthermore Factions has weird choice of henchmen, for some reason they decided to give you only one healer hench in the start of factions (while the damage potential of some enemies there is really high). |

I personally prefer Factions. Much better, more innovative, didn't have heroes (which have ruined the multiplayer nature of the game).
More people are on Nightfall however, so you would probably benefit more from going with NF. And at this point heroes are present in all campaigns, since people just bring them along. |

Hm, well I like the environment/scenery of Nightfall more... but I prefer my Ritualist to both Paragon and Dervish (though in all fairness I haven't played either class enough yet to get a good feel for them). Voice acting and story is good too, especially the light-heartedness. I was a bit disappointed with the end of Nightfall, though.
Factions has a really cool opening cinematic, where Nightfall does not. Heck, I don't know. I think I ultimately enjoyed Factions more because I got more interaction with real people... |
